Not a Typical Vancouver Winter . . . .

This winter's abnormal weather patterns have created a very different picture of Vancouver:

Apparently, the frigid temperatures are to remain most of this week.

Kind of makes us glad we're still here in Florida right now . . . . Let's hope we can continue to say that during the summer's dreaded "Three H's" . . . . (Heat, Humidity & Hurricanes)

Yeah, my Canadian friends tell me "It never snows in Victoria". Stanley Park has been hit very hard. Us, on the Island, are fighting the floods, now.

yes, our weather in Seattle (very similar to Vancouver) has been all over the place ... since October, records have been broken for rain, wind, temperature ... and we've had more "snow days" than in a while. (Not that much snow, depending on where you live in the area, but enough snow and ice to majorly disrupt transportation.)

Even with the less than perfect winter in Vancouver, we are looking forward to being there on a permanent basis . . . .
