February 10: Landing Day ! ! ! !

By this time tomorrow, "drf" and I should officially be landed Canadian Permanent Residents - a mere 2 years, 4 months and 14 days after our application was submitted to CIC.

Damn, that will feel good!

Our next post will be as Canadian PR's.

As they say in the South: "Yee Haw!!"

Now, if you will do us a favour and put us at the top of your "Prayer List." :-) Since we will be landing at Vancouver's YVR airport, we would really rather not be Tasered(tm) by CBSA.

Cheers ! ! ! !

Congratulations!! It's a great feeling when you finally have Permanent Resident status.

Make sure that photo is the right size - I had to run to a photo place and have mine retaken...my head didn't fill enough of the frame or something.

Thanks so much for the well wishes, Gang!

We made it through the landing process very smoothly - details later.

Congratulations and welcome from both Pam and me. Allison is right; perhaps you can rename the blog 'Moved to Vancouver'?

Ha, after we moved, everyone asked me if I was going to change my blog's name - add a "d" for "moved". I say: Resist! Keep it in the present tense. You're still moving, still exploring, and in a sense you always want to be. Plus who cares. It's your blog. I hope you don't change it. :)

(Although actually I hope you do whatever you want, despite what anyone says, including me.)
