Our local news broadcast this evening included a report from a Boston, MA correspondent commenting on the severe winter weather gripping the northeast US.
It showed a clip of a man on his way to church whose vehicle ended up in the emergency median and couldn't move. He was quoted saying: "The Lord was driving!"
Wonder if The Lord had bothered to get snow tires and/or chains installed prior to taking the spin?
Just askin' . . . .

Hmm, yet another vindication of the move to Canada, eh?
I hope you are doing well in wintry Vancouver. We have been homebound since Friday evening and are hoping to be able to get to work on Monday. OY!
I always wonder the same thing. When a tornado rips through a town and tears up the houses the media will interview some resident who will say "Thank God, the Lord saved us!” In their belief system, who do they think 'made' the tornado? Isn’t it always referred to as ‘an act of God’?
Doug:
JoJo and I are doing well in wintry Vancouver - 'Nuther 20 - 30 cm predicted tonight and tomorrow, though! Sheesshhh, it's like being back in Wisconsin as a kid. It can leave now . . . .
CC: Ain't that the truth. All those tornadoes flipping trailers and the occupants are thanking the lord. Amazing. I'll "e" you something you might find interesting. Take Care out there on the island . . . .
