Hypocrisy on Parade!

Check out Jeff Black's Horny Rabbit blog post for an accurate description of the gay political stories du jour.

As usual, he has a humorous yet right on target view of the situation . . . .

In Washington State recently, we had the mayor of Spokane. When he was in the state legislature, he not only opposed gay rights laws, he actually sponsored anti-LGBT bills. A newspaper reporter documented him trolling online for barely-legal (and some not-so-much) young men. He was exposed, he was ousted from office (for using government time/equipment for personal use), and then had the nerve to cry that he was being discriminated against because he was gay. Anyway, he died shortly thereafter, pretty sad and alone. It's hard to feel sorry for him. It's one thing to be closeted, it's another to be a rabid bigot and hypocrite. Jim West -- I had blocked out his name.

If the repuglican leadership in Congress - who were aware of the "transgressions" of mr. foley - aren't censured themselves, there really is no shame in that institution.

They won't be censured, but at least from now til the election opponents can say, " you couldn't even protect 16 year old pages on capital hill from a sexual predator, how can we expect you to protect the nation?"

It kills their strongest area, security and the war on "terra"
