More of the "Family" Get the OK . . . .

The latest of our "crossing over" group of USians to Canadians is the Canadian Hope duo of Tom and Emilio.

They received the OK a couple of days ago, and I can't believe I forgot to post the good news here.
Congrats, Guys!!

All of the hurdles have been jumped - Now you can jump for joy!

That only leaves us and the Would Be Canadian guys Daniel and Alan left to get the word.
We'll race you, Guys.

Once we're all in, who is to follow? Kind of sad to see this coming to a close with no one to carry on the blogging tradition . . . .

What's your timeline, by the way? Have they said anything?

Meds are in, and we're hoping within the next couple of months.

Keep your fingers crossed, IP . . . .

I am rooting for you guys. Try sending the consulate an e-mail. I just provided my file number and my question about the medicals not being processed and was pleasantly surprised with their answer.

Hi guys, I know how difficult it is.... you're almost there! If you'd like to contact the consulate, have your lawyer do it instead, otherwise CIC will get confused of the fact that you have already a representative/lawyer dealing with your application.... believe me, we wanted to drive all the way to Buffalo when we were waiting!!!! hang on! Its just around the corner!!

Thanks for the suggestions, Tom & Gito.

Yes, since our attorney is the contact with the Consulate it will be them doing the correspondence.

Actually, they did email them yesterday so we'll see if it spurs any action.

We're patient . . . . Have to be in this process, eh?

I've been meaning to find an email address for the consulate in Seattle.

Anyway ... it's strange but I'm going to be a mess when we do get a reply. I don't know how to explain it, but as bad as the waiting is, it's become like an old friend. When we get the final "yay" or "nay" we will be forced to move on. It's sort of like the difference between being engaged and being married. I've got pre-wedding jitters ...

Pre-wedding jitters

Good one, Daniel.

Do you have any requests for your trousseau ? ? ? ?
