Barred from US:
BC psychotherapist denied entry after border guard googled his work.
. . . . Then Feldmar disbelievingly listened as he learned that he was being barred from ever entering the United States again. The officer told him he could apply to the Department of Homeland Security for a waiver, if he wished, and gave him a package, with the forms.
The border guard then escorted him to his car and made sure he did a U-turn and went back to Canada.
Hopefully, our train north is leaving soon . . . .

WHAT!!! Since when does a person get Googled at the border!!! Past LSD use is grounds for being denied access to the US? Wow, Georgie-boy himself better be careful at the border crossings. Canada may not let him enter because of his past rampant cocaine abuse. This is insane . . .
(As I said in my email to you), I just howled at the stupidity and in justice of this. It in no way makes anyone safer; it's one of those unthinking hollow gestures that makes people THINK they're doing something. Meanwhile, all it does is take resources and attention from real measures. Not to mention that right-wing domestic terrorism in the U.S. is largely ignored by W. and company. (Because that's their "base.")
