Not everything is done, as far as the details of moving, anyway.
Little things like re-doing the closets to allow more usable storage space, hanging the artwork, figuring where to put all of my CD's, etc., are still in the "we'll get it done soon" stage.
Going from 1,500 sq. ft. to 573 sq. ft. demands some adjustments, discarding, and existing in cramped quarters. All in all, though, the adjustments are definitely worth it.
Some of us, in particular, are loving the changes. The JoJo Dog has become a City Girl with ease, and we don't think she is missing her life on Jolly Bay at all.
She has even almost mastered the elevator ride in the building. Initially the moving floor under her feet was quite disturbing to the child. After a week, it is becoming the "norm" in her everyday life.
And, as of Friday, she's now completely legal with her new City of Vancouver dog license.
Life is good . . . .

AW, she is so CUTE!!! Glad to hear she is adjusting and she looks so good on the balcony, surveying her domain.
ADORABLE!!!
So sweet! I'm happy you guys are doing fine!
I have a new computer background wallpaper now! (JoJo on the balcony)
We're moving to a smaller place, too and trying to get rid of as much as possible.
I look forward to some guided nature tours from you!
YAY!
I am so glad you didn't have the dog issues we had when we arrived. Our girl now loves the city too.
yeah the dog is cute and all that, but tell me, is that really the view from your new pad? 'Cause if it is, I might have to be really really jealous
Yes, Rev., it actually is the view from our tiny pad in The West End.
Neither "drf", JoJo nor I had experienced high-rise living before, and we are loving it.
View of downtown Vancouver, "peek-a-boo views" of English Bay and Coal Harbour.
Makes one want to utilize that annoying USian phrase: "We're blessed!", but I won't.
I like to refer to it as us being in harmony with The Universe . . . .
